Prayer Requests

(Updated 2–3-24)

Please pray with us about these concerns:

Pray for those who have attended our outreach programs and for longtime non-Christian attenders to open their hearts to Christ.

Pray for the younger members of the Yoshino church to grow and be strengthened in their witness and leadership.

● Please pray for Japanese Christians to be strong witnesses in their Christian lives—the harvest is great.

Pray for natural opportunities to witness and for open, growing hearts among all those attending the Bible study classes.

● Pray that the recent spotlight on the Unification Church in Japan will not be a stumbling block but help the Japanese learn the distinction between Biblical Christianity and cults.

Pray for growth in the Sunday School at the Yoshino church.

Pray for the work of Osaka Bible Seminary.

Pray for Brother and Mrs. Karakawa, ministering at the downtown Kagoshima church.

Pray for the Japanese to turn their hearts to spiritual things, especially as the world continues to deal with many ongoing problems.

● Pray for the aging church in Japan; for the raising up of a new, younger generation of Christians and leadership for the Lord’s work in Japan.

● Pray for Brother Otsubo as he ministers by helping several churches in Kagoshima prefecture.

Pray that building plans for the Yoshino Church of Christ can become a reality. We truly need more space and ground floor accessibility because of our aging congregation.

Pray for those affected by the New Year’s Day earthquake—relief efforts will take a long time and it is a very cold time of the year in that part of the country.

Pray for the Maxeys’ health and strength, and for opportunities to witness.
